Minutt for minutt - a documentary film project by NRK, created a 40-hour film about the 729-kilometer Nordland Line railway between Trondheim and Bodø, divided into four parts according to the seasons. The film showcases the picturesque landscapes and the journey through fjords, valleys, mountains, and the Polar Circle. The recording was made using SonyXDcam cameras placed in the front of Di. 4 locomotives. The four parts are synchronized in time and place, and each part differs in the train's position at any given moment. The Norwegian state railway had a schedule for each trip, but the four series were unique.
